Quality Lab Upgrade Speeds Up TSR Grading

New instrumentation in the quality laboratory shortens turnaround on TSR grading without compromising accuracy.

An upgrade to the Memot quality laboratory has shortened turnaround times for grading technically specified rubber (TSR), helping the plant release certified batches to customers faster.

New instrumentation streamlines the core TSR tests — dirt content, plasticity retention index, initial plasticity and nitrogen — while automated data capture reduces manual transcription and the errors that come with it.

Faster, cleaner grading means tighter feedback loops for the processing team and shorter lead times for buyers, without any trade-off in the accuracy that underpins each grade.
