Memot Rubber Plant has awarded scholarships to 120 students from the communities surrounding our estates this year, part of a long-running commitment to education in the districts where our workforce lives.
The programme covers tuition, learning materials and transport for students across primary, secondary and vocational levels, with priority given to the children of plantation workers and families facing financial hardship.
Beyond funding, the company hosts annual mentoring days that introduce students to careers in agronomy, laboratory science and logistics — fields directly connected to the work of a modern rubber operation.
