Memot Rubber Plant Company has closed the 2025 financial year with its highest-ever annual output of natural rubber, driven by expanded mature tapping areas, favourable weather across the harvest window, and steady gains in per-hectare yield.
The result reflects several years of disciplined estate management — replanting ageing stands with higher-yielding clones, tightening tapping schedules, and investing in the processing capacity needed to convert a larger crop into consistent, export-grade product.
“This milestone belongs to every tapper, field supervisor and plant operator who kept quality first through a demanding season,” a company spokesperson said. “It positions us to serve our customers with greater reliability in the year ahead.”
The company expects to build on the result in 2026 as newly matured hectares enter production and efficiency programmes across the facility continue to take effect.
